Orthodontics for Children

Drs. Craig and Alexandra Chamberlain and the American Association of Orthodontists recommend that your child should have their first orthodontic evaluation by age seven or at the first sign of orthodontic problems.

By this age, your child's teeth have developed enough for Dr. Chamberlain to spot subtle problems with emerging teeth and jaw growth before your child loses all of their baby teeth.

Orthodontics for Teens

For teens around the Beaumont and Redlands area, the most common time for orthodontic treatment at Chamberlain Family Orthodontics is during adolescence, between the ages of 11-16.

Experienced orthodontists like Dr. Chamberlain easily recognize issues with spacing, crowding, bite, and alignment in this age range. Also, your teen’s bone and jaw structure are at an ideal developmental stage for orthodontic treatment to begin.

At Chamberlain Family Orthodontics, your teen can choose between Invisalign clear aligners, InBrace, metal braces, or clear ceramic braces. All of these choices offer unique benefits while transforming your teen’s smile.

Orthodontics for Adults

Braces aren’t just for kids anymore. In fact, one in every five of our patients at Chamberlain Family Orthodontics is over 21. At our offices in Beaumont and Redlands, you can pick between a variety of esthetic treatments designed for adults.

Believe it or not, your teeth don’t stop moving after your teen years. Teeth that seemed straight and aligned in youth can shift later in life. This can lead to jaw pain, trouble brushing, or a smile you’re unhappy with.

If you leave misaligned teeth untreated, you may end up with other dental problems such as tooth decay and gum disease. You may also notice abnormal wear on the surface of your teeth or that it’s difficult to chew normally.

Dr. Chamberlain can address these issues and more through orthodontic treatment, giving you the healthy smile you’ve always dreamed about.

Why Should You Think About Orthodontic Treatment?

Straight Teeth Are Healthy Teeth

After Dr. Chamberlain aligns your teeth correctly, it’s easier for you to clean them through regular flossing and brushing. This helps prevent other oral issues, including some that can affect your overall health.

A Straight Smile Builds Confidence & Self-Esteem

Successfully completed orthodontic treatment with Chamberlain Family Orthodontics can help boost your self-confidence, create a better quality of life, and allow you to smile freely, maybe for the first time.

Untreated Oral Issues Will Get Worse

If you delay or decide not to start orthodontic treatment when Dr. Chamberlain recommends it, you may run into long-term health issues that wind up costing you more in the end.

At Chamberlain Family Orthodontics, our team understands that kids, teens, and adults all have different dental needs, so we give each age group personalized care.

We’ll work diligently to make sure you receive the most beneficial treatment at our inviting offices in Beaumont and Redlands, CA.
